With teaching experience since 2022, Faye has worked in both one-on-one and group settings, including leading county guitar ensembles. Faye's studies have equipped her with valuable pedagogical insights, shaping her approach to teaching musical education. She is committed to fostering a supportive learning environment and is eager to continue developing her skills as both a performer and educator.
Private Guitar Lessons
Faye values the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, finding it a deeply rewarding experience. She tailors her teaching methods to individual needs and has developed a greater appreciation for music’s role across all ages. Faye offers Classical Guitar lessons as well as acoustic/contemporary.
Teaching in Schools
Teaching guitar in primary schools has been both fulfilling and rewarding for Faye. She currently provides one-on-one and group sessions at primary schools in Rugby, focusing on beginner and Grade 1 and 2 students, with two of her students achieving distinctions.
Pedagogical Knowledge
Further pedagogy at RBC with Dr. Luan Shaw deepened Faye’s understanding of diverse teaching methods. Shadowing and leading lessons in Birmingham schools alongside Georgina Tomlinson provided valuable hands-on experience, enhancing her teaching skills and approach.
